to stitch up my fake smile
and have the warm blood
dripping off of my chin?
how would it feel
to keep my eyes closed
and hide from the world
while still in plain view?
how would it feel
to not hear anymore
and still be listening
to all of the pain?
how would it feel
to not feel again
and be so far out of reach
no need to worry anymore?
so how would it feel
if i
took a little extra?
cut a little deeper?
screamed a little louder?
drowned in this empty laughter...
with this smile on my face
and listening all the while
with my eyes open wide
feeling everything yet numb
how does it feel?
it feels so...
